Brands I’m Coveting for Fall 2018

With fall right around the corner and sweaters starting to hit stores, I’ve been thinking A LOT about the brands that have caught my eye for the season. There are a few trends that I have been ALL OVER when I’ve been doing my fall browsing. These trends are plaid, suiting/tailored pieces, romantic blouses, and chunky distressed knitwear!

alice + olivia

This season, alice + olivia has come out with some of my favourite suiting/work wear esque pieces. I love all the contrasting collars, plaids, stripes and tailored pieces! I especially love that ShopBop (one of my favourite online shopping destinations) has styled these pieces with chunky doc martens, leather jackets and grunge-inspired accessories.

rag & bone, and rag & bone/jean

If you’ve been following my blog from the beginning you will know that my love affair with rag & bone has been a forever kind of thing. It’s no surprise that this year it continues with rag & bones varsity inspired fall pieces, their denim staples and their statement pieces.

T by Alexander Wang

GRUNGE VARSITY. enough. said. There’s a number of pieces in this collection that make me want to be back on my University’s campus in a pair of docs, with a page boy cap, glasses and an overcoat… it’s a look, I’m into it.

BB Dakota

BB Dakota has done it all this season, grunge, varsity, pinafores everything. It’s a great affordable option for the other brands that I’ve listed. BB Dakota does a great job staying on trend and producing high-end adjacent looks without going out and copying the styles exactly.

McQ – Alexander McQueen

This is giving me all the fall plaid inspo… all of the plaid paired with vinyl pants, leather pants and chunky combat boots.

Isabel Marant Etoile

Isabel Marant Etoile this season is giving me serious grunge lumberjack vibes. Now as a Canadian I do recognize that we have this stereotype of the plaid red shirt lumberjack and honestly Isabel Marant Etoile nails the fashion version.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Let me know what you want to see next!

xoxo Steph
