Hello Everyone!!
Today is a little bit of a different day, but as the season is coming to a close and everything is changing (once again) I wanted to share my most used organization tools that help me keep track of (mostly) everything! Especially with everything having slowed down a little bit this spring, I’ve been taking the time to get myself organized, get back on top of things that have slipped (laundry, my reading schedule etc.) They are not your traditional organization tools like a journal or a planner, they are for the little random things here and there that you guys might not have thought about, but have totally changed how I stay organized.
Goodreads
If you guys are big readers like I am and don’t use Goodreads, you need to start. It takes all the guess work out of figuring out what book in your series is next, and lets you track what you’ve read, what you want to read and what books you are waiting to be published.
Goodreads also has yearly reading challenges, where you can set a reading goal and it will tell you how many books ahead or behind you are!
Trackseries.TV
A TV tracker has been life changing. I have such a bad memory when it comes to all the different shows and their air dates, so a tracker is crucial. One of my resolutions this year was to try to finish up a few concluded shows, so being able to track my progress through some of the longer shows (Think 10 seasons long) has been crucial. Also with quarantine, I’ve just been watching more TV in general and keeping track of what I’ve gone through has been a little slice of satisfaction as I mark things watched.
UNUM
I’ve talked about IG Grid planners before, but I really really really think are necessary, even if you are a casual IG user, it’s nice to see all your pictures laid out. Especially if you are on vacation and taking lots of pictures, it’s nice to put them all into the grid planner so you can see which photos you’ve posted and which you are saving for throwbacks.
Reminders
I love using reminders as my social media calendar as well as my study schedule planner. I’m not a big fan of using my calendar app because I don’t like how I can’t see everything laid out. So I use reminders and create specific lists for each aspect and then I can view all scheduled events to see everything coming up for the next few weeks!
It’s great because you do check off items as you go, so it’s very satisfying to see all your bubbles disappear and it runs like a virtual to-do list with the added bonus of a scheduled reminder.
Alright, so this is a non-traditional tool, but hear me out. I’m very visual, so being able to search through the app for ideas on how to organize my closet, or outfit ideas etc. it’s so so so useful. I also use the app as a running mood board to help solidify my vision for the season when it comes to decor, personal style and even the overall vibe. It’s really helped me take the ideas floating around my head and visualize them and keep them organized.
