Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge was a huge must on my list of things to do in New York City. My second weekend at Parsons we made the trek on the subway to the bridge to trek across it to Brooklyn to trek to Williamsburg. Yes… lots of trekking happened.
The day we decided to see the Brooklyn Bridge it happened to be ridiculously hot outside. My suggestion if you are planning to see the bridge in the summer is to first bring water and sunglasses with you and go to the bathroom before starting the trek over the bridge. Yes yes I sound like a mother, but seriously don’t forget it seriously sucks needing to go to the bathroom half way across the bridge.
Eventually we found our way to Williamsburg where I met up with my cousin at a brunch place called Egg. Egg is SO GOOD. I have Biscuits, Strawberries and fresh cream ugh so good.
After I finished catching up with my cousin at Egg, I wandered back to the main drag to find my friends. We spent the rest of the afternoon wandering in and out of shops, my only purchase being two dainty midi rings at Cat Bird (obsessed), getting fancy coffee and running through this amazing food festival.
