With the weather getting colder, the super drying indoor heating and an increase in hotter showers… your skin is probably getting a little (or a lot) drier and in need of some tender loving care. Here are my 3 super quick and easy things to add into your beauty routine to keep your skin in tip-top condition.
1: Dry Brushing
Once a week before you hop in the shower, quickly run a dry bush in upward strokes over your skin. You don’t need to get super intense with it (but you can if you want to), it takes 2 minutes (if that) and you’ve exfoliated your skin, drained your lymph nodes slightly and increased blood circulation. It’ll get rid of all the dead skin and makes your skin super soft.
2: Coconut Oil
If you aren’t already using coconut oil in various parts of your routine, I highly recommend you adding it! It’s super moisturizing and can be used in a number of different ways. In this case of quick and easy ways to add it in, I like to take a bit of coconut oil and apply it to my legs before I shower. That way as I shower my legs are moisturized and all the excess is washed away, meaning I don’t have to moisturize post shower.
3: Face Oil
If you are noticing that your face has been a little more dry and won’t retain moisture no matter what you do (I’m talking even if you are drinking so much water you feel like you are going to float away) add a couple drops of a facial oil into your moisturizer for an added boost!
These are my 3 Quick and Easy Thing to Add into Your Beauty Routine This Winter! I hope you guys enjoyed and that these tricks work for you!
