I am a huge fan of investing in my wardrobe. I really strive to find quality, long-wearing clothing that I know will last year after year. With that being said, there are some items in my wardrobe that stand out among the rest as being the items I constantly reach for. I thought I’d do a quick round-up of all my favourites from 2018 and then from now on, I’ll start a seasonal round-up! It’s a little bit like a monthly favourites post but these pieces are less trendy and have been in my wardrobe for a few years!
Citizens of Humanity Rocket Sculpt Jeans:
I wear these jeans almost every single day throughout the fall, winter and spring. They are the most comfortable, flattering and long wearing jeans that I own. My oldest pair is now 5 years old, and I always always always buy them on sale! All Saints Balfern Leather Jacket
I bought this jacket last year while I was in London, and I’ve literally not taken it off. Throughout the whole winter, fall and spring I wear this jacket. In the fall and winter it’s layered over knitwear and in the spring it’s layered over dresses and white poplin shirts!
I wear my converse all year round… yup, all. year. round. They are the best to wear with jeans, leggings etc. I can’t say enough good things.
Stuart Weitzman Prancer Bootie
I wear these all year round. I don’t care that they are considered a winter thing, I think they look amazing with dresses, jeans, shorts, skirts everything!
All Saints Combat Boots
Another pair of shoes that I wear all year round. When I am going for an edgier summer look I pair my combat boots with romantic dresses and in the winter I pop them on with EVERYTHING. A good pair of combat boots will never go out of style.
Uniqlo Crewneck Tees
I wear these all year round! Throughout the winter I wear these crews underneath my sweaters and itchy knitwear, and in the summer I wear them alone!
Anything white, poplin with eyelet details
If you follow my instagram you will know that white poplin is my summer staple. I have a few eyelet tops that I wear all spring and all summer. They are seriously from H&M and Zara (even though I dislike fast fashion, poplin yellows no matter what the price point)
These turtlenecks are so lightweight, so cosy and the perfect pieces to wear alone OR layered all throughout the fall and winter. They are so well priced ($89) for turtlenecks that don’t pill, don’t fall apart and DON’T SHRINK!!!
This bag is my go-to everyday bag. I chuck everything that I need into the bag. It’s just big enough to fit my camera, sunglasses case, battery pack, wallet, phone, and keys aka the essentials.
This is not going to be a shocker if you’ve seen my instagram feed throughout this summer. I love how flattering this skirt is and how it is one step more put together looking than denim shorts, but it’s still casual and comfy!
