The Lululemon Court Rival High Rise Skirt

Hello Everyone!

It’s golf/tennis season and as tennis skirts are officially back to running my life I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the ever sold out Lululemon Court Rival High Rise Skirt.

Shop Regular: https://bit.ly/3xGsTp4

Shop Tall: https://bit.ly/35Oji3z

First and foremost, I need to point out how incredibly difficult it is to get the skirt. Lululemon really is employing a type of hype marketing/ limited run mentality that I personally feel is leading to more frustration with the brand than building hype and anticipation. Perhaps it’s working, but considering there is soooo much demand and so little supply… they could be restocking a touch faster.

The skirt launched in Spring/Summer 2020 and phew, she FLEW off the shelves and with good reason this skirt is so flattering. But as I mentioned, getting your hands on it can be difficult.

*rumour has it that thee site restocks on Tuesdays* **this rumour has yet to be verified so DO NOT QUOTE ME lol**

What you need to know about the Lululemon Court Rival High Rise Skirt

There are two lengths: Regular and Tall

The regular length runs a bit short (especially on the sides as it is a curve hem). If you are curvy, taller than 5″10 or would like a bit more coverage I’d recommend getting the Tall version.

Me, myself, and I with a more regular/lanky build find the regular just nice and a little on the shorter side which I prefer.

Rise:

It is a HIGH RISE skirt which wow…. Lululemon needs to make more high rise skirts because it is so comfortable, so flattering and really snatches the waist.

Sizing:

Waist – Very much true to size

Liner Shorts – True to sizeish. I found the liner shorts a bit tight initially

Price:

Court Rival High Rise Skirt Regular: $84

Court Rival High Rise Skirt Tall: $84

My Thoughts

I’m over the moon with this tennis skirt. It’s become a fast favourite due to the comfort and the flattering fit.

My one grievance with skirt is the ball pocket. I find it so difficult to actually get things into the pocket. This could be a Steph error, but for sports and even going out for walks where things like keys and balls are constantly going in and out it’s super annoying.
