Puddle Jump

Flying to New York from Toronto Pearson is painless… almost sleepwalk-able… almost. I mean ladies and gentlemen this trip isn’t your usual tropical vacation 4am wake up stumble to the airport, sleep on the plane for an hour, wake up to the day drinkers at the back of the plane, fall asleep again, wake up to clapping at seeing water type of trip. It’s not that exhausting… nono. It’s almost luxurious and then you step on the plane and you realize your luggage does not fit…. your carefully packed, artfully arranged tetrised together affects do not fit under the seat infront of you and horror you are in the window seat and your laptop is ALL THE WAY ABOVE THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU. Never fear, you remembered to keep your phone and a set of head phones with you. Right? Audible to the rescue! (If you don’t know, Audible is an app for your cellular device that allows you to listen to audio books) *Mother enjoys lumosity*

*As I write this, please note that my mother has taken a rubber brush like contraption to remove the “guck from her skin”. Her sking being the cow-hide rugs that she has placed in the family room and formal sitting room and guck being lint.*

After an hour of minimal leg room and inner ear pain from your earbuds, you reach New York and the view is worth it.

How could you not love this view? I guess if you have no soul or are seriously against urban sprawl but I mean… it’s gorgeous. My anticipation when landing was like none other, I was there! There’s the I’m coming home feeling and then there’s I’m going to New York City Feeling… NOTHING can compare… well somethings can compare but for me there is virtually nothing.

After landing, getting all our stuff we did the normal check into the hotel and go to Kinky Boots. Normal stuff, nothing tooo fancy.

XOXO Steph
